After releasing our first videotape GUANO T-APES in 1998, we released a DVD in October 2000. The new carrier comes with a substantially higher memory capacity than can be found on a normal CD, but you can handle it and navigate your way through it just as easily. There’s no tiresome winding forward or rewinding anymore, and similar to an audio CD, you are able to select each title via a menu. In the meantime, a DVD can be played on most computers provided that a DVD-RAM drive is installed.

The main part of the DVD is a recording of a concert at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. The live streaming (Supersonic Records had it, too), which you can see here, offers a foretaste. But in the end, the quality of the pictures and the audio sound is nothing compared to the quality contained in the DVD. It is really much better than any TV broadcast whatsoever and the fans at the show in Holland were in a great mood.
Then, especially for the DVD, Ronald Prent made a completely new mix of all songs of the album in AC3 format creating magnificent sound experiments. With the help of special amplifiers, DVD players are able to create a stereoscopic sound with 5 speakers. And now, the new mix comes undulating and screaming out of every corner. We are eager to know what you think about the new mixes – of course, there is still high fidelity on any other playback unit.

While the music is playing, you can see a show with more than 100 exclusive slides taken by our very own photographer Dirk Schelpmeier during our recent US tour and at some concerts.

Then, Friedel Muders, our designer and "director" of our DVD, has made some interviews with us and added them to the lot. Let's wait and see what you think about our answers. The interviews can be switched over to English subtitles. And finally, he really fought his way through endless hours of video material, adding about fifteen minutes of tour material to the part Extras without any comment – finally, the DVD was complete. We had so much fun.

Oh yes – lest we forget ... this DVD contains all our videoclips which we have shot to date.

Hope you enjoy the DVD – anyway,
we were enthusiastic about it!
